here are some pretty dreary #s about voter turnout (i'm writing another yet letter to the editor). the first drives home the importance of getting out the 18-24 year old vote:

the second is interesting because it allows you to track who is NOT voting by sex, race, class, ethnicity, income, union affiliation, age, party affiliation, political disposition, &c.
